Darin Doumite, MD

Dr. Darin Doumite received his bachelor's from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge and his medical degree from St. Matthews University. His postgraduate training includes an internship and residency in general surgery both at Louisiana State University Medical Center in Shreveport. He brings specialized skills in robotic and laparoscopic surgical procedures. This has allowed his patients to recover with less pain and a quicker return to activity/work. His primary focus is complex hernia repair, colorectal cancer, and gallbladder disease. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
