Dr Ravi Alapati is a board-certified general surgeon and fellowship-trained bariatric surgeon. He is the medical director of the Owensboro Health Surgical Weight Loss Center, established in 2018. Dr Alapati was instrumental in attaining the Center of Excellence for Bariatric Surgery accreditation for Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. In addition to being a Fellow of The American College of Surgeons, He is a member of The American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgeons. Dr Alapati and his multidisciplinary team offer patients the most advanced, highly specialized techniques to treat obesity and its resulting co-morbid conditions.
