Kimberly D Ponnuru, MD, FACS is an experienced, Board-certified surgeon with AdventHealth Medical Group. She specializes in minimally invasive surgery and acute care surgery, including gastrointestinal surgery, colorectal surgery, hemorrhoidectomy, laparoscopic cholecystectomy and diverticulitis treatment. Prior to joining AdventHealth in 2018, Dr Ponnuru practiced general surgery at medical centers across Kansas and Missouri. She has earned a number of honors throughout her career, including the America’s 100 Best General Surgery Healthgrades Award and the Five-Star Recipient Gallbladder Surgery Healthgrades Award.
