Joshua Langert, MD, FACS

About

Joshua Langert, MD, FACS, is a Board-certified general surgeon with AdventHealth Medical Group General Surgery at Shawnee Mission. He performs a wide range of procedures, with an emphasis on anti-reflux surgery, complex abdominal wall hernia reconstruction and robotic general surgery. Dr Langert earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. He completed his residency at The George Washington University, where he was named Surgical ICU Resident of the Year and earned a number of honors for excellence in research and in teaching. He then completed a fellowship in minimally invasive surgery at The University of California San Diego.
