Dr. Dolejs is a colon and rectal surgical specialist. His interests include minimally invasive surgery (including advanced robotic and laparoscopic surgery), advanced endoscopy (colonoscopy), and benign anorectal disease (such as hemorrhoids, abscesses, and fistulas). He completed his general surgery training and colorectal surgery fellowship at Indiana University. He has written over 30 peer reviewed publications, presented at over 15 national meetings, written 2 book chapters, received numerous awards for his research, and has helped create international consensus guidelines on the management of diverticulitis. He is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery.
