Gregory McGovern, MD, is a UW Health general surgeon. He provides surgical care for patients with a range of abdominal and gastrointestinal (GI) disorders. Dr. McGovern performs noninvasive, robotic (small incisions done guiding a robot) surgeries to treat many bowel diseases and abdominal conditions. He provides surgical treatment for gallbladder disease, hernias (protruding tissues), appendicitis (inflamed appendix), lipomas (fatty lumps), skin cysts (fluid pockets) and masses.
