Dr. Jeffrey S. Mandel is board certified by the American Board of Surgery. He completed his medical degree at University of Virginia School of Medicine in Charlottesville, Virginia before completing a surgical residency at Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina, and a fellowship in advanced laparoscopic surgery at Columbia-Presbyterian College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York, New York. Savannah Magazine has named Dr. Mandel the Best General Surgeon in Savannah consecutively since 2013. He is an active member of the American Medical Association, American College of Surgeons, Southeastern Surgical Congress, Georgia Society of General Surgeons, Georgia Medical Society, and Medical Association of Georgia.
