Dr. Rebecca F. Spahos

About

Dr. Spahos graduated with her bachelors degree in Genetics from the University of Georgia and managed a lab for genetic cancer research at Emory University. She completed medical school at the Medical College of Georgia, and residency for General Surgery at Memorial University Medical Center In Savannah. She started a Breast Cancer Program at East Georgia Regional Medical Center and practiced General Surgery there for six years. Dr. Spahos is excited about continuing her broad general surgery practice in skin and soft tissue surgery, thyroid surgery, laparoscopic and open colon resection, hernia surgery, colonoscopy/endoscopy, laparoscopic Nissan fundoplication, and has special interest in breast cancer care and surgery at Evans Memorial.
