Dr. Myers obtained his doctorate from the Ohio State University College of Medicine. He completed his surgical residency at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and then a minimally invasive surgical fellowship (advanced laparoscopy) at the Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, Oregon. His expertise in laparoscopic advancements places Surgery South at the forefront of technological breakthroughs in general surgery. Dr. Myers is certified by the American Board of Surgery, is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons.
