Dr. Nuriddin graduated from the Meharry Medical College School of Medicine in Nashville, Tennessee. He went on to complete his surgical residency at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. Continuing his interest in laparoscopic procedures, he completed a fellowship in advanced and minimally invasive laparoscopic bariatric surgery at Atlanta Medical Center. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery, is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons. His areas of special interest include the laparoscopic treatment of diseases of the gall bladder, stomach and intestines along with laparoscopic hernia repair.
