Venkatasubramanian Kanthimathinathan, MD (Venkat), is a boardcertified general and bariatric surgeon. “Dr Venkat” as he is known by his patients is deeply committed to the care of all his patients and is honored by the privilege to help them restore their whole health through expert surgical care and uncommon compassion for their well-being. Originally from India, Dr Venkat attended medical school there before coming to USA for his general surgery residency at Loma Linda University Medical Center. Following that, he completed his fellowship in minimally invasive bariatric surgery at the University of Missouri Health Care, Columbia, MO.
