Timothy McElveen, MD

Timothy McElveen, MD, FACS, joined AdventHealth Medical Group from AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson, SC, where he was a general surgeon for over 20 years and previously served as the hospital’s Chief of Staff. He is a proud graduate of the University of South Carolina, where he earned his undergraduate degree in biology and was a William Douglas Memorial Scholarship recipient while earning his medical degree at the USC School of Medicine. Dr McElveen undertook his internship training at Georgia Baptist Medical Center in Atlanta and his general surgery residency at Georgia Baptist and Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Virginia, respectively.
