Karin Blumofe, M.D., is a board-certified general surgeon at Baptist Health, specializing in a range of procedures, including laparoscopic surgery, advanced robotic surgery, removal of skin and soft tissue cancers or abnormalities, and abdominal surgery for hernias. Prior to joining Baptist Health, Dr. Blumofe worked as a private practitioner, using innovative laparoscopic and robotic techniques care for gallbladder, hernias, colon and gastric band surgery. After earning her medical degree from the University of Southern California School of Medicine, Dr. Blumofe completed her general surgical residency at Loyola University Medical Center.
