Steven J. Smith, M.D., FACS, is a general surgeon and member of Baptist Health Medical Group, an organization of more than 180 physicians in multiple specialties integrated within Baptist Health South Florida. He has more than 38 years of experience diagnosing and treating a broad spectrum of conditions and diseases, including operative intervention. He manages a patient’s preoperative diagnosis, performs elective and emergency surgery on most body systems and provides comprehensive postoperative care. Dr. Smith is Board certified in surgery. He received his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine in New York, N.Y.
