Dr. Pete Peterson, MD is a board-eligible general surgeon. His surgical interests include Advanced Endoscopy, Minimally Invasive General and Foregut Surgery, and Bariatric Surgery. He has a unique training experience with TGH being a tertiary referral center and the region’s only Level I Trauma Center. His foregut experience is further strengthened by association with the USF Joy McCann Culverhouse Center for Swallowing Disorders which manages nearly thirty percent of Florida’s Esophageal Motility disorders. He obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of North Florida.
