Anthony Rongione, MD

Dr. Anthony Rongione is a cardiac and thoracic surgeon with the Orlando Health Heart and Vascular Institute. He has a clinical interest in bloodless cardiac surgery, and his specialties include adult cardiothoracic surgery, minimally invasive heart surgery, advanced heart failure, left ventricular assist devices, arterial revascularization and aneurysms. Dr. Rongione earned his medical degree from Rush Medical College in Chicago, followed by an internship and residency in general surgery at UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles. He completed specialization in cardiothoracic surgery at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle. Dr. Rongione is certified by the American Board of Surgery and American Board of Thoracic Surgery.
