About
As an attending surgeon at Saint Francis, Dr. Gross was responsible for teaching and mentoring surgical residents from the University of Connecticut, Quinnipiac University, and the New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. He also mentored new trauma and acute care surgeons, revived the Annual Trauma Symposium, and was involved in outreach activities to regional EMS providers. Dr. Gross has been actively involved in community education, teaching STOP THE BLEED courses across the country since 2015. He has developed multiple courses for the American College of Surgeons, including Advanced Trauma Operative Management, Disaster Management and Emergency Preparedness, and Advanced Surgical Skills for Exposure in Trauma.
