Felix Lui, MD, is a board-certified general surgeon specializing in trauma, surgical critical care, emergency and elective general surgery, re-operative surgery, sepsis and resuscitation, shock, and necrotizing soft tissue infection, a severe condition that destroys a patient’s skin, muscle, and soft tissues. Dr. Lui’s research interests include shock physiology, trauma resuscitation, pediatric trauma, and surgical infections. He serves as the director of Yale School of Medicine’s Surgery Clerkship Program, which helps improve medical students’ understanding of the benefits and limitations of surgery and teaches them how to access surgical risks and outcomes.
