Zhang Wang, MD, is the first doctor to join the Turlock-based physician group known as the Greater Emanuel Physician Group. As a general surgeon, he was a part of the medical community in Turlock for several years inside the Emanuel Cancer Center. His office is staying put on Tuolumne Rd. Dr. Wang (pronounced Wong) graduated from and finished his residency at West China University of Medical Science. Once he moved to the United States, he completed his surgical residency at the Brooklyn Hospital Center in New York. He then completed a Fellowship in Colorectal Surgery at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield, Illinois.
