Stamos is UCI Health colorectal surgeon and pioneer in minimally invasive surgery, with more than 20 years of experience performing minimally invasive resections for colon and rectal cancer, as well as other colorectal disorders. He is board certified in general surgery, as well as colon and rectal surgery. He also specializes in sphincter salvage operations for rectal cancer and inflammatory bowel disease, with an emphasis on preserving a patient's function.
