Mary Wilde, MD

About

Dr. Wilde, medical director for the Scripps Polster Breast Care Center at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla, focuses exclusively on diseases of the breast. Prior to coming to Scripps, she was surgical director of the emergency unit at Boston's Beth Israel Hospital and an instructor in surgery at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Wilde also was a research assistant at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute and completed her postdoctoral training at Beth Israel Hospital, Harvard Medical School. She received her medical degree from University of California, San Francisco and earned a bachelor's degree in human biology from Stanford University, where she was a member of a primate facility work group under the direction of famed researcher Jane Goodall.
