Dr. Marcelo W. Hinojosa is a board-certified UCI Health gastrointestinal surgeon who specializes in advanced, minimally invasive gastrointestinal surgery. His expertise includes metabolic and weight-loss surgery, surgical management of complex esophageal and gastric disease, including gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), achalasia, gastric tumors and malignancies. He also has a clinical interest in the surgical management of complex hernias, including ventral, incisional, inguinal and hiatal hernias.
