Dr Kranthi Achanta has been a leading general, laparoscopic, and robotic surgeon at Washington Hospital Healthcare System since 2001, specializing in a wide range of surgical procedures, including gallbladder removal, hernia repairs, colon and rectal surgery, and endocrine surgeries. A fellowship-trained, board-certified surgeon, he is skilled in robotic-assisted techniques and holds a Certificate of Da Vinci Technology Training. Dr Achanta earned his MBBS from Gandhi Medical College in India, completed his General Surgery residency at Tufts University, and pursued a fellowship in minimally invasive surgery at USC. Before joining Washington Hospital, he practiced at Deccan Pacific Medical Group and Kaiser Permanente Medical Center.
