John M. Robertson, M.D., is a board-certified thoracic surgeon in Santa Monica, CA. Currently, he is the chairman of the Transfusion Committee at Providence Saint John’s and is directing the hospital’s effort in reducing inappropriate blood utilization and, henceforth, improving patients’ outcomes and safety. Dr. Robertson has been the director of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery at Providence Saint John’s Health Center since 1993.
