Dr. Jay Grove has been in practice in North County San Diego since 2008 and specializes in the field of general surgery, bariatric surgery, trauma and acute care surgery. In 2005, he was instrumental in establishing the Bariatric Surgery program at the Naval Medical Center, San Diego serving as the director during his service there. He has expertise in minimally invasive surgery including use of the DaVinci robotic system, both multi-port and single site. His interests lay in the minimally invasive treatment of foregut disease, abdominal hernias, solid organ surgery, gastrointestinal malignancy and breast disease.
