Dr. Bernstein is a fellowship trained minimally invasive surgeon with specialty training in bariatrics and metabolic surgery, advanced abdominal wall reconstruction, and foregut surgery from the University of California San Diego. He completed his residency training at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City. He is currently employed at Western Bariatric, an accredited bariatric center of excellence serving the population of Southern California.
