Dr. Armin Kiankhooy is a board-certified cardiothoracic surgeon specializing in the most advanced treatments for heart and lung failure and minimally-invasive surgical treatments for atrial fibrillation such as the Hybrid Maze procedure. Dr. Kiankhooy completed his general surgery residency at the University of Vermont and a cardiothoracic surgery fellowship at the University of Virginia. He later completed an advanced heart and lung failure fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, with a focus on heart and lung transplantation and mechanical circulatory support, including the total artificial heart.
