My approach to care focuses on personal responsibility for the care of the patient from the preoperative decisions through recovery. I believe in fewer doctors with more personal ownership and continuity of care. I strive for open and honest discussions about the problems, the options, and the risks; and I try to facilitate communication among providers involved in the complex care of patients with their community based providers.
