Her professional interests are focused on the treatment of all types of breast disease with an emphasis on the treatment of breast cancer. Dr. Champagne takes pride in making patient specific treatment recommendations while using an evidence based approach. She engages in collaborative, multidisciplinary breast cancer care for each patient. Treatment decisions are coordinated with the medical oncologist, radiation oncologists, and plastic surgeons. Her surgical repertoire includes: oncoplastic breast surgery, hidden scar breast surgery, simple skin sparing and nipple sparing mastectomies, modified radical mastectomies, lumpectomies, partial mastectomies, sentinel lymph node biopsies, and lymph node dissections,.
