Charles Atkinson, MD, is an experienced surgeon with interests that cover a broad range of general surgical disease processes. He seeks to build lasting patient relationships through mutual respect and first-rate care. Dr Atkinson was born in Philadelphia and grew up in South Jersey, where he earned his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania. After completing his surgical residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, he found himself in Tucson practicing for the U.S. Air Force. Having completed his active-duty service as chief of general surgery at Davis Monthan Air Force Base, he entered private practice at Agave Surgical Services.
