George Malcolm Taylor, MD

Dr. Malcolm Taylor is a board-certified general surgeon at Baptist Health Walker Hospital in Jasper, Alabama. He received a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and classical languages from Sewanee: The University of the South in Tennessee, where he graduated summa cum laude and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa national honor society. Dr. Taylor earned his medical degree at the University of Alabama in Birmingham and completed a general surgery residency at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans. Dr. Taylor received additional training in robotic, laparoscopic and endoscopic surgery during his fellowship in foregut and bariatric surgery at the University of South Florida in Tampa.
