Dr. Dennis Fernandez is a highly skilled General Surgeon at North Alabama Shoals Hospital in Muscle Shoals, AL. With expertise in robotic surgery, Dr. Fernandez specializes in robotic cholecystectomies (gall bladder removals), gastric sleeve and bypass surgeries, appendectomies, and complex abdominal hernia repairs. He is board certified and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Fernandez has served as Chief of Surgery at Crestwood Medical Center and is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor at regional schools of medicine. He earned his MD from the University of South Alabama and his BS in Chemical Engineering from Auburn University.
